Happy New Year to you. It has been many months since I last sent out an update. 2015 proved to be the most difficult year I have ever had in ministry. So I let my website and blog gather dust while we worked through those challenges. Yet, despite those challenges, looking back I can see how the Lord has led and protected. It was also a good year for many more reasons. I praise God for the baptisms of those who made decisions for Jesus. I praise Him for the new opportunities I have been presented with in ministry. I praise Him for the travel I was able to do last year in ministry. I praise Him for health and strength--because for the first time in a long time, I went the entire year without missing a day of work because of illness. I praise Him for my wife, children, and extended family. And, I praise Him because for the first time in my ministry, I was able to take a sabbatical and be refreshed.
Today I am excited to announce...
...the relaunch of my ministry website. Though I will be adding more to it in the coming weeks, it is functioning and informational. I invite you to take a look at it, offer feedback of how I might make it better, and of course in this social media age, LIKE and SHARE on Facebook and/or Twitter!
In November of last year, I began playing with an App called Periscope. It's an app that allows you to broadcast anything you want. With plenty of web bandwidth, I am now setting my iPhone up on a tripod and broadcasting my sermons each week. While the first 2 weeks my audiences were quite small, I have had more than 120 people from around the world check in and listen--if only for a few moments--to the presentation. The Gospel must be preached, and this is just one more, easy way, to do that.
One of my resolutions for the 2016 is to regularly blog. I will try anyway. My purpose for my blog is to write devotionals, notes of encouragement, about current events that might have prophetic interest, as well as other things I think you might find interesting.
Thank you for following my blog and ministry. Thank you for your prayers and support. I pray you will be blessed in the coming year. But even more, I pray 2016 will be the year we realize the Second Coming of our Savior Jesus!
